Prof. Mirabbos Hojamberdiev and Dr. Krishnendu Roy from the CatMatX Lab attended MATSUS Spring 2026 in Barcelona, Spain. Prof. Hojamberdiev participated as an invited speaker in the symposium Compositionally Complex Nanocrystals: Synthesis and Application, presenting the group’s research on (oxy)nitride crystals and their structure-property relationships for solar water splitting. Dr. Roy presented his recent research work on strain-induced magnetic modulation of NiCo2O4 for magneto-electrochemical oxygen evolution, demonstrating the potential of magnetic-state engineering for more efficient water electrolysis.
